LIKE MARX’S BAGELS TUNA SALAD

I was once asked to clone the tuna salad from Marx’s Bagels. Although the restaurant wouldn’t divulge how to make the recipe, they did give me the ingredients, which include albacore tuna, onion powder, white pepper, carrots, celery and seasoning salt.  Chris S. has been looking for this recipe. Try this:

Mix together:

1 can, approx. 6 oz, albacore tuna, drained

1/2 cup ea. diced carrots and celery

Enough mayonnaise  or substitute to bind mixture together

Now add to taste:

Onion powder

Seasoning Salt

Pepper

I like serving this in hollowed out tomatoes, or with lettuce and dill pickles on whole wheat toast.
