Easy Grilled Chicken Legs

There are some recipes that are shared again & again. Like the recipe for easy grilled chicken legs that a listener to my radio show on Sonrise Morning Show/Sacred Heart radio heard about last week.

I don’t have a photo – well, I did but dang if I can find it…so here’s the recipe, and it really is delish.

EASY GRILLED CHICKEN LEGS

Three ingredient seasoning for grilled chicken

Now you can use less (or more) of any one ingredient. This makes a generous amount. 

Ingredients

1 cup salt

4 tablespoons coarse or restaurant grind black pepper

3-4 tablespoons granulated dried garlic 

Instructions

Just stir everything together. Store in glass jar, covered, or other suitable container in pantry up to 3 months or so.

Grilled chicken drumsticks

No specific number of drumsticks required. Just sprinkle on a nice coating of seasoning all over the chicken.

Olive oil

Three ingredient seasoning

Instructions

Brush a tiny bit of olive oil on the drumsticks. This helps seasoning adhere.

Sprinkle seasoning all over each drumstick.

Prepare a hot grill: 450 degrees.Place over direct heat with a closed lid. Flip every 5 minutes until an internal temperature of 185°—about 30-35 minutes. Remove from heat and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
