
Oh gosh, hard to believe but as of today, there are NO turkey wings packaged up to make the do ahead gravy recipe I shared a couple days ago. So what I did was this: I bought a smaller (15 pound) turkey on sale for 39 cents a pound. Then I cut off the wings, legs & thighs & back. I now have a nice extra turkey breast (and it was a lot cheaper buying the whole bird than just the breast!). So here’s a photo of what I put in the oven this morning to make the do ahead gravy. Looks like I have enough for a couple batches, don’t you think? Or maybe just one batch which is super flavorful. I’ll let you know what I decide.
