Don’t panic! Here’s a quick & easy and “lovely” cake for your Valentine.

One of my readers stopped me at the grocery today to say she was buying more ingredients to make another cake after making one. “Best chocolate cake we’ve had”, she said.

Triple chocolate Bundt cake

Yes, 1 cup oil is correct. A reader says she uses 3/4

cup. I’ve only made it with 1 cup and it turned out super. So use the amount

of oil you like between the 2.

Ingredients

1 box devil’s food cake mix

1 (5.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

1 cup sour cream

1 cup Canola oil

4 eggs

1/2 cup warm water

1-1/2 cups mini or regular chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350.

Beat together cake and pudding mixes, sour cream, oil, eggs and water very well. Stir in chips and pour into well-sprayed 12 cup Bundt pan or angel food pan.

Bake 50 to 55 minutes. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean. Cool in pan at least an hour and a half before inverting onto a plate. (Otherwise it won’t release from the pan). Good plain, dusted with powdered sugar, chocolate glaze, etc.
