Pick up a pack of cedar or other wood planks. Follow directions: soak several hours underwater and then prepare your salmon. Put salmon on wet plank, season, grill, covered until done.  This is our favorite way now to cook salmon. If you like, make a nice dill sauce to go along with it:

Mix together:

1/2 cup mayo

Juice of half a lemon or more to taste

1 generous teaspoon dried dill leaves or palmful fresh chopped

Hot sauce to taste

1 tomato, finely chopped (opt)
